Olympic Biography of Ryan Nelsen

Ryan Nelsen is a soccer player. He is the captain of the All Whites. Ryan is going to the 2012 London Olympics.
He was born and raised in Christchurch,
His full Name is Ryan William Nelsen.

Ryans height is 1.83 m (6 ft 0 in)
He moved to the USA and played college soccer. He was named most valuable player at stanford  University, Where he graduated with a degree in political science.
Ryan then returned to Christchurch united, then played for DC united and was named team captain in 2003.
He was signed to Blackburn rovers in 2005 and was made team captain in 2006/2007 season. He scored his first league goal for blackburn with a header against Wiggen in 2009. He signed to Tottenham hotspur in january 2012 in the number 33 shirt and made his debut on 11th feb 2012.
He first played for NZ in june 1999 against poland.
Ryan also captained the All Whites in the 2010 FIFA world cup and the team went on to get there first ever point in the final.
In 2010 Ryan was named officer of the NZ order of merit for his services to football.

    It really is informative and it shows lots about him.
